Implementation of a Profinet, Profibus-type industrial network test bench through an industrial ethernet communication system

The purpose of this technological proposal is primarily to provide a PROFINET, PROFIBUS-type industrial network test bench to the FACULTY OF MECHANICS-ESPOCH, where the student can carry out laboratory practices on industrial networks. During the development of the technological proposal, an investigation of the PROFIBUS and PROFINET communication networks was carried out, where its operation and the necessary configuration for the PLC S7 1200 MASTER CM1243-5 PROFIBUS DP AND THE PLC S7 1200 SLAVE CM1242-5 PROFIBUS DP were specified. With the implementation of this research, it is sought that the professional who leaves the classrooms of the faculty of mechanics is a professional equipped with weapons at the time of programming this type of equipment within the industry. With these results, a functional test bench with industrial sensors was established for applications that have to do with what happens in the industry, in addition, a frequency variator was installed in the test bench to perform dynamic braking and motor acceleration tests. electric with inversion of rotation. The technical and practical application of this research, whose concepts and methods help the professional to use this equipment in laboratory practices in the electropneumatic laboratory of the Faculty of Mechanics.
