Abstract

Currently, power converters are found in many electrical systems since they are mainly used for the conversion and adaptation of energy to electrically supply certain equipment that requires a controlled energy supply. This is why both the types of converters as well as the types of control that can be applied have been extensively studied in recent years, testing various converters for both voltage control and current control for different applications according to the response. Through the application of the slip control mode, the buck converter with voltage regulation and current equalization in different phases is tested, analytically finding the variables that provide robustness to the system Kp and Ki (proportional constant and integral). The Matlab Simulink program is used for the simulation of the converter controlled by sliding modes, testing the response of the system to power variations of the connected load, analyzing the behavior of the main variables.
