Abstract

The general objective of this investigation is oriented to the creation of an Ad-hoc network between two laptops manually as part of a practical demonstration. The methodology was developed under a descriptive and applicative type of research, with the support of elements of documentary research. Among the conclusions is that: through the use of an Ad-Hoc network, files and data can be shared quickly, given that all the equipment will remain directly interconnected and does not require an administration process exercised by a central point. Its assembly is very easy to carry out and thus, the configuration must only be carried out at each node. It is an ideal mechanism to share the Internet connection with other computers. With very few resources, a computer can be made to work as a modem for the other machines in use.
