This article focuses on the automation process of natural gas treatment plants, with the main objective of integration in the DCS systems for the electrical equipment responsible for the operation within the Plants, these devices have different communication protocols, The DCS allows more than the visualization of process variables, remotely executing even the intervention on physical control systems such as valves, gates, etc. This entire process requires an optimization of the response times to any event that may occur in the plants, and with this an optimization in the natural gas treatment operation.
